Who We Are

Adult & Teen Challenge of Texas provides Christ-centered, residential addiction recovery programs designed to transform the lives of men, women, families, and teens.

The Alvin Women’s Campus, serving women from throughout the Houston area and beyond, offers a Christ-centered residential recovery program where women can step away from the pressures and influences of everyday life and focus fully on healing, growth, and a new beginning. Set on 11 peaceful acres with beautiful outdoor spaces and a sparkling swimming pool, the campus provides a safe, welcoming, and structured environment designed to encourage reflection, renewal, and lasting change.

Here, recovery is about far more than simply overcoming addiction—it is about genuine transformation from the inside out. Women are given the time, support, and guidance needed to address the underlying issues that have contributed to destructive patterns while strengthening their relationship with God, rebuilding confidence, restoring healthy relationships, and discovering a renewed sense of identity and purpose.

Through biblical teaching, compassionate mentorship, meaningful relationships, personal accountability, and practical life and job-skills training, women develop the spiritual and everyday tools they need to build a healthier, more stable future. The goal is not simply sobriety, but lasting freedom—helping each woman leave the program better prepared to care for herself, reconnect with her family and community, pursue meaningful work, and move forward with faith, hope, purpose, and a strong foundation for life.

Our Biblical recovery curriculum offers powerful and proven materials that deeply transform lives. With the guidance of a caring staff, participants receive mentorship and life skills training in a safe and encouraging community.

We also provide employment support in a re-entry phase, ensuring each person is equipped with everything needed to thrive and experience lasting freedom.

Lasting recovery takes time. Our 12 to 18-month residential programs provide a safe and structured environment where participants can break free from addiction and destructive patterns.

Ongoing Support for a Lifetime of Freedom

• Internship Program – Hands-on training for individuals called to give back by pursuing ministry with Adult & Teen Challenge of Texas.
• Re-entry Program – Graduates can remain on campus, continuing their recovery journey with guidance, encouragement, and support.
• Lifeline Support Groups – Nonresidential support groups offering caring relationships and curriculum-driven classes for individuals and families affected by addiction.
